Oregon's Untold History

Oregon Uniting's free 10-lesson middle-school social studies curriculum presents an inclusive perspective on the people of Oregon, from the indigenous American Indians to more recent Oregon immigrants. The lessons and activities teach students how discrimination was enacted and challenged at different points in history. The bibliography, tools, and resources in each lesson allow teachers to locate materials for more in-depth study and research opportunities for students. Issues of immigration, western movement, civil rights, civics, and other subjects are addressed in the curriculum.
